RECIPE STEAK A LA PIZZAIOLA

Recipe for a grilled steak with a delicous tomatosauce, usually used as a base for pizza but now as a sauce for the steak.

Meat dishes from Italy for 4 persons, suitable for on or with a bbq dish, for christmas and other holidays.

Ingredients

  • 4 steaks
  • 4 pomodori tomatoes, seeded and skinned, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • garlic salt

Preparation

Grill steak to your liking with plenty garlic salt. Keep warm.

Saute tomato, garlic oil to a sauce, add more oil if needed, in Italy its pretty oily. Bring to taste with salt and pepper.

Add meat to warm sauce and serve.

Serve with good fries and a salad.
