RECIPE KOFTE

Recipe for the Turkish dish Kofte, minced meat seasoned with turkish herbs.

Meat dishes from Turkey , suitable for on or with a bbq dish.

Ingredients

  • 1 pnd beef or lamb (or half-half) mince
  • 2 onions, grated
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 bunch parsley, chopped
  • 2 tbsp kofte spices (get it at meditarrenean deli)
  • salt, pepper to taste
  • Garlicsauce
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 10 cloves garlic, grated
  • 4 tbsp flour
  • 1/2 pint stock
  • 1/2 pint milk
  • salt, pepper to taste

Preparation

Combine onion, garlic, parsley, spices and salt and pepper. Form little sausages from the meat.

Heat butter and saute garlic, add some flour and add the stock little by little and the milk. Keep stirring so nu lumbs form. Bring to taste with salt and pepper.

Add sausages to sauce and leave to simmer for about 30 minutes.

Just before serving stir in some parsley.

Serve with white beans.

You can also prepare the sausages on a bbq and the sauce on the side.
