RECIPE MISO YAKITORI

This version of Yakitori is glazed with a miso sauce.

Poultry dishes from Japan for 4 persons

Ingredients

  • 2 pnds chicken thighs, fileted
  • 4 springonions, chopped in pcs 1 1/ inch
  • Miso Sauce
  • 4 ounces miso
  • 1 1/2 ounce sugar
  • 3 tbsp sake
  • 2 tbsp mirin (or sweet sherry)

Preparation

Mix ingredients for sauce and on low heat let dissolve. This makes for several meals and keeps wel refridgerated.

Skewer chicken with spring onion. Grill until done, meanwhile baste sauce but make sure not to let it burn.

Finally sprinkle with sesameseeds.
