RECIPE GLAZED PORK WITH HONG KONG NOODLES

Noodle dishes from Thailand for 4 persons

Ingredients

  • 1 cup ricewine vinegar
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup soy
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp grated ginger
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 package of thin rice noodles, soaked
  • 1 pnd pork loin, in strips
  • 1/4 pnd mixed stir fry vegetables in bite size pieces
  • 2 tbsp chicken stock
  • 2 tbsp curry powder (use your favorite)
  • salt/pepper to taste

Preparation

For the glace mix vinegar, ketchup, soy, honey, garlic and ginger in a sauce pan and bring to a simmer, leave to simmer for 15 mins.

Prepare noodles according to package. Stir fry vegetables in a hot wok, add noodles, curry, stock and salt and peper.

In another pan stir fry pork, when almost done add some of the glace to cover all strips, add more if needed. The rest of the glace keeps well.

Serve pork on top of noodles.
