RECIPE CAJUN SHRIMP TACOS

Recipe for Cajun Shrimp Tacos a fusion between cajun and mexican food.

Ingredients

  • Chili Sour Cream
  • 2 cups sour cream
  • 2 tsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • Cajun Shrimp
  • 1 1/2 tsp chili powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 2 pnds uncooked, cleaned medium shrimp
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic, mince
  • Salsa
  • 10 tomatillos, chopped
  • 1 chili, minced
  • 1 tbsp roasted garlic puree
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • lime juice
  • 16 tacos
  • 1/4 pnd watercress
  • 2 avocados, cubed

Preparation

Sour cream
Mix all ingredients well and let sit for a few hours, bring to taste with salt and pepper.

Shrimp
Coat shrimp with chili powder, paprika and let sit for 5 minutes. Heat oil in wok and stir fry shrimp until done, about 4 mins. Bring to taste with salt and pepper.

Salsa
Mix all ingredients well and let sit for a few hours.

To prepare the tacos, warm them in the oven. Divide watercress and avocados over tacos, then shrimp and sour cream.

You can also use tortillas.
