RECIPE SAMBAL GORENG

Ingredients

  • 7 shallots, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 3 chilis, chopped
  • 15 birdseye chilis, chopped
  • 5 kemirinuts
  • 1 tomato, seeded and skinned
  • 2 tsp trassi (shrimppaste)
  • 1 tsp tamarinde
  • 5 tbsp oil

Preparation

To make it less spicy take out seeds of chilis.

Saute first 7 ingredients in oil until softenend. Put in mortar and rub to a paste. Add salt and tamarinde to taste.
