RECIPE CREME BRULEE

Sweet dishes from France for 6 persons, suitable for for christmas and other holidays, for children or prepare with children.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup full-fat milk
  • 1 1/4 cup cream
  • 1 vanilla pod, sliced
  • 100 gr. sugar
  • 5 eggyolks
  • 4 tbsp brown sugar

Preparation

Srape out vanilla marrow, add pod to milk. Bring milk on low heat to a boil. Leave to cool slowly.

Add sugar to bowl and sive milk over sugar. Stir in cream. Add yolks and vanilla marrow en whisk for about 3 mins. Divide mixture over 6 ramekins and 'bake' aubainmarie for about 45mins in oven of about 120C/250F, cover with tin foil.

Then leave to cool in refridgerator.

To serve, dive brown sugar over 6 ramekins and with a mini torch caramelize sugar to a crisp.
